National Wildlife Federation: Příroda jako místo hry a učení - vydali jsme náměty, jak na to
9. září 2014 | National Wildlife Federation
“Decoding the human genome was impressive. The internet has been transformative. Big data are amazing. But a child playing in the woods? That simple, time-honored image is at once magical, and powerful, and inspiring.”
Every person who has ever watched a child play in nature has cause to rejoice. The National Wildlife Federation and the Natural Learning Initiative has just released Nature Play & Learning Places: Creating and Managing Places Where Children Engage with Nature, the definitive 192-page illustrated guide to nature play design. These guidelines show how to create a new type of nature play and learning area with trees, shrubs, flowers, and natural materials so that children and families can experience and appreciate wildlife and nature at every place they use in every community. The guidelines draw from Robin Moore and Allen Cooper's extensive experience, case studies of 11 existing nature play areas across the country, and contributions from representatives from more than 20 national organizations. The project was funded by the US Forest Service.
The guidlines can be downloaded for free at www.nwf.org/What-We-Do/Kids-and-Nature/Programs/Nature-Play-Spaces-Guide.aspx
