Global Transboundary Conservation Network: PANORAMA přeshraničních řešení
22. prosince 2016 | Global Transboundary Conservation Network
IUCN released a brochure Solutions in focus: Transboundary Protected Area Solutions ((www.iucn.org/sites/dev/files/iucn_panorama_brochure_final_web5_tb.pdf), edited by Diana Clamote Rodrigues and Marie Fischborn. Foreword was prepared by Co-Chairs of WCPA Transboundary Conservation Specialist Group, Kevan Zunckel and Maja Vasilijević.
The booklet is the first in a series of compilations assembling PANORAMA solution case studies on a defined topic. ‘Solutions in Focus’ zooms in on a topic of interest covered by PANORAMA, allowing to explore common elements and shared learnings across success stories. It is a snapshot of the PANORAMA portfolio at a given time, rather than a representative assembly of selected best practices on the issue at hand.
The content of the booklet Solutions in focus: Transboundary Protected Area Solutions (www.iucn.org/sites/dev/files/iucn_panorama_brochure_final_web5_tb.pdf), featuring 17 cases of transboundary conservation examples of successful processes and approaches, is the result of a recently held IUCN-organized webinar titled Transboundary Protected Area Solutions. The webinar recording is available here and presentations can be viewed here: www.iucn.org/sites/dev/files/panorama_webinar_transboundary_pas_7.12.16b.pdf
